Directed the design and production of multi-day conferences, meetings and events for global event marketing firm. Engaged in new client acquisition and account management for clients on turnkey event productions from sourcing to budget management to creative production design, execution and follow up and P&L responsibility for agency accounts

Spearheaded the creative vision, planning and execution for a variety of strategic event productions servicing corporate clientele. Liaised between vendors, entertainment acts and clients in the management of budgets and execution of live productions. Wrote technical scripts, detailed production schedules and served as on site lead and support for events of all sizes including meetings, conferences, galas, receptions and festivals

Contract Production Assistant + Event Producer for Houston based Creative Production Firm. Provided production support to the lead technical director for the 2011 Maxim Super Bowl party ESPN Tailgate party in Dallas, TX. Created production schedules, managed suppliers, provided onsite support. In 2014, co-produced a multi day meeting + product launch for a global oil corporation at Minute Maid Park in Houston, TX

FUNDRAISING EVENTS DIRECTOR, BILL WHITE FOR TEXAS CAMPAIGN

August 2009 - November 2010

Directed the planning and execution of fundraisers for Mayor Bill White’s gubernatorial campaign. Worked closely with donors and volunteers on more than 100 statewide fundraising receptions. Worked as a member of an eight person fundraising team that generated over 26 million dollars in campaign contributions. Planned and coordinated 21 fundraisers in a 30 day period spanning from September to early October 2010, including a 750 person gala that generated more than 350,000 dollars in support of the campaign

EVENT COORDINATOR, LATINO CULTURAL CENTER

October 2008 - August 2009

Arranged and promoted performing arts events, film screenings, and visual art exhibits at cultural arts facility that attracted 25,000 visitors annually. Maintained the Center’s Web site, nurtured working relationships with Latin American Consulates & Latino civic groups, guided tours of facility, disseminated and enforced building policies and procedures, served as the special event liaison with the greater Dallas community

Responsible for soliciting and training 200+ volunteers and vendors for Chevy’s Freedom Over Texas 4t h of July event in downtown Houston, streamlined and coordinated volunteer HQ at event with 75,000+ in attendance
